For a market leading global technology company in Southern Germany we are searching for a
European Patent Attorney / Patent Portfolio Manager (m/f/d)

The job description:

• As part of a full-function IPR department in Southern Germany, you will implement the European patent portfolio strategy for a specific technology sector.
• The role includes the preparation and filing of patent applications in cooperation with internal and external partners, the review of invention disclosures, claim charts and patent commercialisation.
• Furthermore, you will support licensing as well as litigation activities, perform freedom-to-operate analyses and develop strategies to mitigate patent risks.

Your profile:

• Academic degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer science, physics or similar.
• Work experience in a similar role as patent engineer or patent portfolio manager in an in-house patent department.
• Partially qualified as a European Patent Attorney, a further national qualification in a European country would be a plus.
• Team player, open-minded, and interested in challenges in a dynamic environment in a multinational team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in (legal) English, German is a plus.
